BACL is the professional organisation for clinical linguists and phoneticians in the British Isles.  Its members are involved in teaching and research in clinical linguistics and phonetics and speech and language therapy. 

BACL aims to hold a biennial colloquium so that members can present recent research and discuss matters of teaching and learning in clinical contexts.
